different strokes for different folks. Some people get off on the level of difficulty and sense of accomplishment that military life brings to the table. I do. I honestly like my job and enjoy doing it. Even the crappy parts. Having been there and done that i cant say i recall some dumbass commanding me to die as you say nor can i say anybody would actually follow that order.

I find it hard to believe that some people choose to slave away at a job that offers no future security, entails mind numbing tedium, and has virtually no guarantee of future advancement or additional skill set education. If youve been at a job for 3 years and cant recall what NEW abilities you've gained or skills youve picked up, your wasting your life.

as far as that goes that can go for alot of the jobs that are out there, there's not many that continue to educate you.

well yeah the president sending the soldiers to war is basically saying it's ok for him to get the soldiers killed, a war that not many people agree with.

feardamaverickhunters;3599013 a war that not many people agree with.

They must agree with it because not only did that ass clown get reelected but nobody in Congress is stomping his shiat about withdrawing troops. Thats congressmen on both sides of the aisle so what i see is a lot of lip service but no action. there ARE measures that the common man can use to get his elected leaders to do their damn job but i guess thats too much work...

people re electing him was their stupidity i thought none of the candidates were very good but there wasn't much i can do...and yeah you do a march or anything like that they'll put you in jail which would serve no purpose in any case. look at that woman that was in texas, they put her in jail cause she was doing armedless protesting with picket signs and shit cause of her son, and what'd they do? they put her in jail.

Bush got elected because when people like me got to the voting booth & said, "This is all I get to choose from?"; then all I could do was weigh the 'wimp factor'. 1 was a wimp & the other was not a wimp. I said that it would be interesting for the world when they get to know Bush. He has the political skill of a bar room brawler. Ms. Sheehan was arrested because it is against the law to camp in that spot. She refused to break camp & she was arrested, then released. Her son volunteered to serve his country & his mother is dishonoring his choice.
