A naval landing craft made landfall on the shores of Western Falcon state carrying troops and over a dozen camouflaged tanks.
 Dammit Venezuala has found out our classified invasion plans where the USMC would only land one landing craft and 12 tanks.
Oh for pitys sake.
I can understand if this was Iran, but quite frankly, I dont think Venezuala is really a high priority target.
What I do think is that Chavez wants the US to invade, just to prove him right, so he can have his little war and attempt to kick US ass.
(3000th post BTW)
Hahaha... Chavez.
He's so childlike, it's uncanny. He's a wannabe if I've ever seen one.
I didn't make it!
Its an excersise people. Does it sound like they are paranoid? Yes. Do they have the right to? Yes. Should you care? No Live goes on, who cares what their preparing for.....
What Decebalus said.
Its obvious they are paranoid, but I don't see what is wrong with them making military excercises, something a very large number of countries do.

Sure they have the right to. But an invasion wouldn't come with a few troops and tanks. It would be more like a couple of these bad boys showing up on your coast line, dispensing LCACs and SeaCobras, absolutly destroying your defenses.
Komrad, nobody does a rational military exercise with a company of troops and around two platoons of tanks. It's just so wrong that us military guys think it's funneh.
I'll give you Marine guys this Anlushac, you sure do beat the snot out of the Army when it comes to rapid deployment.

Pfft, why use more than you need to? This is Venezuala we're talking about. Sounds like the force in question was more than sufficient... :clueless:
Wouldn't be surprised. The "gringo bashing" stop the day the US Marine Corps comes knocking. Just ask Saddam.
I was just amused by the tiny size of the force used to represent a US attack. It seems to have hardly woth the effort and surely wouldnt have impressed anyone.
Sure message sent but was the message the right one and was it effective?
I mean who were they trying to impress, the US or themselves?
More likely it would be some greedy neighbor looking longfully at the oil reserves. Good idea to keep your soldiers on their toes. No point in having them at all if you don't train them.
And it was a good opportunity to bash the US. ;)
