Discuss the death of former American President Ronald Reagan. I will say more later, but he was no doubt in my mind one of the best presidents our country has had. He wasn't just a president. He was a true leader.
I won't comment on his policy. This isn't a time for that. This should be a thread of condolences. I am sad to mourn the passing of the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Wilson Reagan. He was one of the most effective and inspiring speakers of the century.
Fmr Pres Reagan was a great man. Not in the top five presidents, but great nonetheless. He fuked our economy, but at what price? the price that we were better than the soviets. he tripled our national debt. and he did it to end a war that was going to end anyways. he was not a great president, he was a bad president. the only thing that he did that is worthwhile during his presidency was that he made people proud to be americans again. -sidenote- top five 1)Lincoln 2)FDR 3)Washington 3)Jefferson 4)Teddy
^ Thats true. Mulroney (Canadian PM at the time of Reagan's presidency) was a total kiss-ass to Mr. Anti-Commie Reagan. In the paper this morning there was a big picture of the two of them singing at the Shamrock Summit of 1985 when Mulroney and Reagan got up and sang. Reagan did very little for the US.
As previously stated by Moof, Octovon, this is a thread of condolences, not expressing your opinion on United States policy.
