Discuss about it here. I think that whatever it was it was something big. I mean the US gov. wouldnt keep it secret for over 40 years and even today, still hiding things. I dont believe in the BS baloon theory or the (nazi UFO theory ) , because it wouldnt be kept secret if it was that. Plus they kept on changing their response. Im expecting the government people in this forum aka striker and schultz to come and tell me "oh it was an air baloon, im a genius"

In 1947 an unidentified flying object crashes in the New Mexico desert, and the military enforces the greatest cover-up of any event ever discovered by the general public...

http://www.alienresistance.org/roswell1947ufocrash.htm

Brazel then disappeared for several days (alleged house arrest / brainwashing / threats) and never spoke again of the incident. But he is said to have been seen driving around town immediately afterwards with a brand new truck, which he certainly could not have afforded. Jesse Marcel Jr, and Elizabeth Wilcox (the sheriff's daughter) however, remain today among the most credible witnesses to the strange events of those few days.

"Brazel said that he had previously found two weather observation balloons, but that what he found this time did not in any way resemble either of these. "I am sure that what I found was not any weather observation balloon," he said. "But if I find anything else besides a bomb they are going to have a hard time getting me to say anything about it."

Read more at that site and dont give me the biased BS. I dont want to argue about it anymore styiker.

Dude seriously you need to get your head of the clouds and quit with these so-and-so incidents or the whatever event. You have made like 6 of these.

Whatever crashed, the government has it. Area 51 IS a real military base in a huge valley. They will shoot you if yo tresspas because the base is in a valley and they guard the parimeter of the mountains surrounding it. Its government R&D. Let them do what they want.

As far as rosswell, it would have been an experimental plane for all you know.

I haven't made like 50 religious threads either. Check out the list of all threads started by me (there are 36 of them): http://www.gamingforums.com/search.php?searchid=804872 Number of political threads: 10 Number of religious threads: 7 Number of news threads: 3 Number of spam threads: 3 Number of sports threads: 2 Number of threads about new types of government that I made up: 2 Number of gaming threads: 2 Number of threads about the economy: 1 Number of threads apologizing for bad stuff I did: 1 Number of demented threads: 1 Number of threads comparing Hitler and Lassie (it's not demented, right?): 1 Number of threads complaining about moderators' actions: 1 Number of threads about bad grammar: 1 Number of threads about familiar/societal problems: 1 I made two versions of the same thread, "Do you believe Satan exists?" in both General Discussion and the Pub. Therefore, I will not count the one that Biggus Dickus closed (which was in General Discussion). Of the 6 remaining religious threads, there were a minimum of 5 replies and a maximum of 255 replies. Total number of replies to my religious threads: 534. Average number of replies per religious thread (keep in mind, there were 6 of them): 89. Now, on the other hand, you, Stealth, have recently made 4 of these threads about mysterious incidents. I checked all your threads, 98 of them, to make sure there were no others besides these. http://www.gamingforums.com/search.php?searchid=804852&pp=25&page=1 Of your "mysterious incident" threads, there were a minimum of 3 replies and a maximum of 34 replies. The total number of replies is: 62 (counting this one). Average number of replies per "mysterious incident" thread: 15.5. Pathetic. Face it, in general my threads are more popular than yours. :0wned:

That's quite interesting but mainly off topic. Keep that thread under the Roswell topic and I'll keep it open.

Area 51 is a top-secret military facility where technologies of alien origins are examined and stored. These technologies are obtained via many off-world exploration teams travelling through an ancient alien device known as a 'Stargate'... Or, it's an R&D base for classified military technologies. Terrestrial technologies. Roswell? Well, aliens capable of interstellar travel at speeds sufficient to get here before dying are not going to be downed by lightning or primitive human weapons fire, as the two theories suggest. Neither are they going to avoid every planet, star, black hole, nebula and supernova in the galaxy, only to lose concentration for a microsecond and crash into our tiny little planet. More importantly, aliens advanced enough to travel interstellar distances are not going to bother coming to this polluted wasteland inhabited by a species so primitive we still kill each other in the first place. A human plane might be downed by lightning or weapons fire though. The fact they don't want to tell anyone about it suggests it was something iffy, like a dangerous experimental aircraft gone awry, or a foreign spy plane they didn't want anyone to know about. Both of which would immediately be carted off somewhere top-secret for study.

I love your writing Mr Matt, I bet you tell your kids some fancy stories at night ?

Anywho, back on topic, I can get carried away...if so, just stop me. Does the movie ID4 show any form of truth ? Even Mr president is unaware of the fact that Area 51 beholds strange oddworldly evidence.....also, the series Taken is a prime excample of how it could've been....and the way many want it to be so to speak.

lets talk abut that for a second shall we...

And finally, I have a Q : what's R&D ?
