Why do you hate them though? Because you can't wear your t-shirt that says Abercrombie or Quiksilver on it?

Im not so much against uniforms but I am against the fact that the school administration wont allow us to voice dislike for them.

Its like 'we have them emplaced and you will damn well like them'

Whatever you do as your being led away be sure to yell "HELP! HELP! Im being repressed!"

And when they try to quite you down yell "Come see the violence inherent in the system!"

Wasnt all that long ago I would have been agaisnt school uniforms, Now Im for them. I think everyone should have to wear the same clothes.

My position, again, is pro-individuality above all, where kids where what the choose (within some reason, of course) to express themselves. The schools must be able to teach the students well under that condition.

I thinnk enforcing school uniforms is really a good thing. there arent many jobs today that dont require a uniform, and so by learning to wear them at school, it teaches good work ethnic. if you rebel in real life, you get fired. simple as that.

Yes, but you also get paid and aren't treated like ignorant little five year olds. If you want your money, you will wear a uniform -- and there is often good reason to, in various professions, but I do not see the need for uniforms in schools. Wearing a certain garment will not make you work any harder.

Bob is right, it doesn't matter what you wear- a fuckup is a fuckup(granted, if they want to be a fuckup, you guys know the people i'm talking about). You wear the clothes, the clothes don't wear you(at least I'm hoping). If it's a case about equality, you could just forget that altogether. Doesn't matter what they do, there will ALWAYS be elitists. Nothing will ever change that, ESPECIALLY school uniforms, so people might as well drop it.

Exactly.....

The school, could be considered to be promoting conformity, where America praises the individuality of people, and the school is going against that. They want us to all be the same and take it like good little nazis. Facisist b*stards...

I can afford good clothes. Its not my problem someone else cant. Have uniforms for THEM then...its not my fault some other people are poor and cant afford them.
