When I read threads like these it makes me happy that I never fallowed though with suicide, and got some help. Even though at times, life can seem awful, life really is worth living. My thoughts are that it someone thinks that their life is bad, he or she has the ability to change it. Hell...even if you fail, at least you tried to change your life. Keep trying until you are satisfied.

According to these stupid videos they make us watch in school wanting to do nothing all day is a sign of sucide risk. I just want to sleep all day and just lay around, does that make me at risk or just lazy as hell?

Apathy can be a problem, but being constantly tired is probably related to not sleeping enough or a lack of vitamins or minerals.

I think its nothing to worry about. That's all I want to do as well, so you're not the only one.

Feeling Tired all day can mean

A. You didn't get enough sleep last night B. Depression C. Boredom D. Sleep Apnea (it can cause you to stop breathing or breathe just as much as you minimaly need to during the night, do you snore while on your side?) E. You feel life has little to offer for the day, so why not sleep F. Your a Narcoleptic (falls asleep when mind isn't active) G. Your a fricken suicidal lunatic that is bound to throw themself off a bridge at the tip of a hat (useful if you don't do homework, where is it? at the bottom of a river, it and the rest of my books and my papers were going to be my weight to keep me under, but the damn shit floated. You'll probaly be sent to a counselor or something afterwards, but short of bursting out in laughter, except a hysteric laughter, you'll not have to worry about missing those assignments so much and can get a better nights sleep)

I feel tired all day, albeit I don't want to sleep, mostly because I can't and just lying there drives me insane, which leads to me only falling asleep in moving vehicles (while note driving, when I am driving, feel perfectly fine, though if I start rolling my eyes in my head and I take my hands off the wheel, be prepared to take over, and hope I don't floor it), but it's not the cause of suicidal thinking for me, it may just be my lazy nature combined with Sleap Apnea and mild Lycanthropy, okay Lycanthrope is unlikely, but what else can one suggest for finding oneself running on all fours like a wolf across the countryside under the full moon.

Nothing is worth dying for man. Just find something to do that you enjoy with your free time. Let yourself go positively , if you have to drink out your sorrows every once in a while. Hell I used to drink a lot. Now I only drink sometimes. Trust me no matter how bad it seems it never stays that bad forever unless you become weak and let it. There is always the next day to do something more positive than your last day. Just manage your time, priorities, goals and objectives and make good of your time and you'll be fine .

It really pisses me off when people think that they are in a position to judge someone who is suicidal or has commited suicide. It also really annoys me how people say "i would never commit suicide, i would see it through" etc.

That fact is, you have no idea what life will throw at you, and you have no idea how it feels to feel like the said person. You will never know how you will react/behave in a given situation until you have EXPERIENCED the situation. Until then, you can only speculate. So stop judging.

I'll have to agree with snabbler on some parts. If the person is mentally ill, then we should try to prevent it, but if all options for ceasing suicide fail, it would be more humane to let the person commit it than to hold them against their will.

RedDevilXLT;3538966"Suicide is painless. It brings on many changes. And you can take it or leave it just the same" - MASH theme song.

Suicide is up to the individual. Yes, on one hand it is wrong because you could/would be affecting others that care about you AND perhaps you do have an emotional disorder that you can't help but could be someone who does very well for themselves. On the other hand, sometimes life just isn't worth living. If you can't help feeling the way you do because a chemical imbalance in your brain AND therapy and/or drugs don't help, then I think suicide may be a viable option. It's up to the individual to choose, not a religious book to decide for you or others who care about you.

"You know, suicide isn't painless, but you leave everyone in pain"

If you commit suicide your a selfish coward. If you have no one who cares about you, be my guest and blow your brains out. But if your supposed to be raising a family and leave your children fatherless/motherless, I would not have sympthy for you at all.
