20% of my paycheck goes to taxes. -Medicare tax -State tax -Federal tax -Final tax -God knows what tax -ETC, ETC

And I read on the news that Bush is proposing new tax cuts for the very wealthy. So why the hell do people like me that earn 7$ an hour have to pay so much taxes, and the people owning billion $ businesses get away with it?

Its because they wish to promote the growth of capitalism.

By giving millionaires a tax cut, they will be better dispositioned to living in America, spending their money there, setting up companies etc.

You know thats BS. Pretty much like capitalism in the US. All they will do is set up new companies abroad because of cheap labor.

Sorry, but that is very missinformed. At least they want you to think that.

They just want to be reelected (and get more money from their "generous" donators).

The reason they are giving them the tax cuts is because they want these companies to stay in the US. The whole point of outsourcing is becuase it's cheaper to operate in another country, what they are doing is simply making it cheaper to operate within the US. The cheaper it is to operate in the US, the less need there is to outsource.

Do you even know how tax cuts work? Or do you just pull this stuff out your ass for amusement?

The Top 50% pay 96.54% of All Income Taxes The Top 1% Pay More Than a Third: 34.27%

The top 1% is paying nearly ten times the federal income taxes than the bottom 50%! The top 1% earns 16.77% of all income

Basically ANY tax cuts wil benefit the "wealthy", due to the fact they pay most of the taxes in this country, YOU are going off what the media tells you, not what the numbers tell you

Acually, its the senate, and not bush, who makes these tax cuts happen, evidently, both parties think its a good idea.

Actually, I'm not talking about the income taxes that you pay at the end of the year. I'm talking about the taxes that you pay with each paycheck! Although the tax cuts might be only for income taxes, not sure on that.
