Welp. It's happened again. Another terrorist attack in a populated city.
This time, the target was a mosque in Quebec. A gunman, identified as a 27-year old white nationalist, broke into the mosque during Sunday night prayers and opened fire on the unarmed attendees. The gruesome attack left six people dead, and another eight had to be hospitalised.
Investigators say the gunman shows sympathies for far right movements, having voiced supported for the French Marine Le Pen, and the American Donald Trump. According to students at Laval University, the gunman was known to display xenophobic attitudes, frequently clashing with other students over his extremist views.
