Take a glimpse into the "future" to find out what we have in store for us! The magnificent architecture...personal transport pods and MORE!!!
^Nice find.
Seriously, though, I've always thought it was pretty amusing to watch those old black and white speculations on how things would be in the year 2000. Personal jetpacks for everyone, food in the form of pills, contact with Martian life...
So funny to see how wrong they all were. =p
A little worrisome though, nay? I'm looking forward to my personal jetpack, but this video makes me wonder if Ill live that long.
I hate the 50s.
One of your best ones yet Jeffro, I remember how our cars would be flying by this time. Not much has changed from a car of the 50's to today.
There was that car from the 50's that they buried along with gas and uncovered a year or 2 ago. Too bad they didn't protect it enough.

They could easily create cars that can fly (and some people are, actually) the problem is the practicability of such a device right now with our current level of technology. It would most certainly use some sort of liquid combustion fuel system (jet fuel most likely) to power and use hover like technology. the problems are that the fuel cost for one would be expensive, the government would need to devise new traffic laws for the skies (where not to fly and such) and seriously... have you been on the road and seen all the idiots that drive on it? I wouldn't want them flying over my home. F that noise.

LOL, You speak the truth.
Years ago when my wife was getting her DL, a lady next to us kept failing her vison test... in fact she couldn't even follow the instructions or understand a simple "read the third line" order from the operator. But they kept working with her until she passed. It is so silly how easy it is to get a DL.
that reminds me of the movei double dragons i think where the year was 2005 or something and all the cities were crime filled rat holes.
I love all those videos, like 2001 (the movie) we have full space stations that rotate to simulate gravity.
