Indirectly, yes. One of the main reasons for America's current terrorist problem stems from the fact that she gives pretty much full backing to Israel, despite many people viewing Israels actions as despicable. IMO it's in America's best interests to help resolve the problems in Israel ASAP.

Metal PhoenixAs for the Israelis occupying the West Bank and Gaza Strip, tough shit. To whom did the land belong to originally?[/QUOTE] The Canaanites, then the Hebrews led by Abraham decided to take their land forcibly and claim it as their own. Then the Babylonians and Assyrians wiped the floor with Israel, then Israel had it back. After that Greek/Macedonians under Alexander took it and after his death, it was controlled by one of Alexander's generals. Rome came soon after and expelled the Jews from their land. Muslims came sometime later and have lived on that land for the past 1400 years before Britain and its holocaust-guilty allies broke up the territory to welcome the Jews who forced Muslims from their homes sa they could regain their 'Promised Land'.

Yea its quite sad indeed that the reason America is widely disliked in the Middle East is due to their involvment with Israel and its subsequent expansion. Peace should be that region's number 1 priority, but unfortunately, not everyone in the region welcomes this idea.

Israel striked first in order to stop the arab nations who were building up forces from overrunning them. The Arab League set up on the day of Israel creation had its intent of destroying Israel and to claim the land. When they attacked Israel for the second time in 1967 and were defeated once again, Israel seized the West Bank and Gaza strip. And in 1973 they arab nations once again attacked Israel. Quite obvious that these Arab nations have no intent on peace with Israel who tried to negotiate but end up on the receiving end of suicide bombs.
