Wich country is the best country in the world? Tell us why you think so and debate about it! the rules: - you may pick any country in the world besides the one you live in!! - don't turn this into a bush is bad/ the war in iraq is bad thread - any example to "prove" why the country of your choise is the best country in the world is allowed. You may also post (funny) pictures etc. - getting a little of topic is ok, but too much and you will be warned. We want this thread to remain intresting but we don't want it to go "wild". I would vote for germany: i love the people, the food is great and the goverment is fine. I also like the fact that they have no speedlimit on the highways: going 220 with a porche would be sooooooo awesome!!

I'll say Canada. Good climate (for my computer anyway :p), (reletively) low crime, yet English-speaking and historically tied to my own country. And, I think it's easier to move from Britain to Canada because of the Commonwealth.

Quite suprisingly, I'd choose America. It's such a big place and we share a lot in common with them. Sometimes I think of Britain as the 51st State. Being here (GF) has allowed me to meet and talk with many American folk. It is very much like the U.K., but without the inherent bitterness. Yup, America for me. There is something fresh about the way they carry themselves. A relatively young nation, shouldering the burden of the world. I'm not going to bitch about Bush, I'm sure you all know my opinions on that particular subject, but just for the (can I call it) innocence of the population, I'd choose to live there. Plus, you all love Brits.... Right? ;)

Tough one. As for countries right now, I would have to say America, because you can't really cross the only superpower off the list no matter how much its actions or attitude may go against the grain. I think Australia and Canada are closest to Britain, but with real weather, so they too would score high.

But I'm really holding out for European integration, so hopefully one day I can say 'Europe'. Until then, I can't really name a single European state who is 'best', although I'd lean towards Italy.

It's actually a very tough question, Donitz - even if you aren't very patriotic, once your own country is off the list, it gets much harder. Good topic! :)

Yeah, and I'm really hoping we dump Europe. They only hold back our plans for world domination....

azh/al and sarcasm roll%20eyes%20%28sarcastic%29.gifok lets add an other rule: tell us which country you are from (if its not vissible on the top right of your name) so that we can "check" if you don't vote for your own country. Acomba Mike your from the USA? then you would have to vote for an other country (a european, canada, etc.)
