Now then the wars in iraq and afganistan are quit often referred to by the media as the forgotten war but what I wonder is.. does anyone actually care abotu it anymore...doesanyone actaully hear anything anymore...do any of you think it is just a waste of tax payers money?
i think it's hard to call the war in iraq 'forgotten' when it's in the media every single day.
yeah true but I have heard it quiet a few times referred to as that by national news stations they may talk about it once for 3 mins every 2 week
probably because it's not like a full scale war any more, like divisions of tanks rolling across the deserts shooting stuff
I doubt this will be a "forgotten war" since it was one of the key points in 2004 elections and nearly everyone today has an opnion on it.
I don't think it is waste of money. Helping people by getting rid of a gennocidal dictator and bringing stability to their country(even though it does not seem stable now) is worth the cost. People wanted instanteuous(sp?) results from the war. You can't go in, get rid of a dictator and stop an insurgency over night.
hmm true but then again things were better then they are now when sadam was incharge no matter how much of a b****** he was
The war in korea is the true forgotten war.
wait a minute... what was the war in korea? i forgot...
