Some friend of mine started an apprenticeship as a teacher about a week ago in an elementary school. Well, I was near this school at 16.30 today and since they come out about that time I decided to pay them a visit. They usually make lessons to 8/10 years old kids. I see my friends coming out of school, we stay there for a while and they star telling me their stories: one told me that a kid told her that he would like to lick her pussy, another during the break picked up a finished cigarette and pretended he smoked, another "friend" told me that a kid asked her if she was a virgin and another kid asked if she did it already, another friend told me that she heard a kid swearing like a 50 year old truck driver, then another friend of mine was trying to hold the class when a kid told her that she was just a bitch. Now, I don' t know about you but I wasn' t like this at that age! These kids have no respect! I know, I know, if I keep talking like this I' ll end up in a place where every sunday old people meet to play bridge and argue about their diseases very soon but, bloody hell, I don' t want to imagine how these kids will be at my age! Plus if they use such a language they must have heard it somewhere may that be TV, brothers or, hell, even parents. If this wasn' t enough already about a week ago a few kilometers away from where I usually take the subway in the morning three 13 years old kids raped a 9 or 10 years old girl. They said they saw it on TV. A little addendum: as I said, I went to pick up my friends and saw many kids with Gucci and prada shoes, The North Face jackets and Eastpack and Pinko bags. I mean, if today the parents let them have/buy them these things I don' t want to know when they' ll be 18! I bet on their 18th birthday daddy will buy them a bloody Jaguar! And no, it was not a private school. My childhood sucked pretty much but I prefer a sucky childhood instead of this!

As my experience( since I'm inserted in a school ) that's quite true. But, as I've seen some of them grow, some get ok and understand that they need to settle down, while others keep on doing the same stuff. I think it's a question that needs to be answered by them

Your not alone, the kids in the school oppisite where i live are pretty much exactly the same, but when the parents come to collect them, their as good as gold. I think they are convinced that being "hard" or "gansta" will get them far in life, all we can do is laugh when they are serving us at McDonalds.

I agree whole-heartedly. A majority of teenagers and those younger behave pathetically. The most common groups I see coming to mind are the hardcores, sluts, and down right fuck ups.

The place where I am currently studying engineering doesnt take any of that bullshit, it's the best thing ever to see my 6"5" boss running toward a group of teenage smokers with a wrench as big as his arm in company with him.

Yes, somehow things seem different. I have heard from teachers that their students don't respect them at all...back when I was studying(not long ago), you could still get serious punishment for even running in the corridor. I got one...three warnings like that and you were out of the school!

And that wasn't even strict...some teachers didn't mind using a ruler to slap your hand if you were bad...nowadays everyone is afraid to be strict because they are afraid that they get sued...and maybe because of that a lot of students think they can do as they please.

Darkness falls on this planet and kids blame everything on tv or arrogance when they rape some one or kill some one....

In garde school and they blame the tv. Our middle school had druggies and vulgar mouths whom I later mett in highschool.

I whent to a christian shcool though so I was spared from the disrespect of parents and teachers....kids were still kids but they werent that bad.

I wish I could see that!

Where I live, it isn't too bad. There are a lot of chavs, but they aren't as bad as those you see on TV. Certainly we don't get anything like what the thread starter described, at least not often.

I wasn't like that either. Nobody that I grew up with was like that. Where I grew up if you screw up you get your ass kicked. We were raised to be highly disciplined. Kids these days take everything for granted.

I blame the school, the parents, and most of all, the law. If you smack your kid you go to jail for example. I hardly know people that didn't get their ass kicked when they were little and screwed up.

This is why they need to let the teachers paddled kids again.

We need to get the gov't out of the schools and let them be run how they should be
