What?

Your arguments are the equivilant of saying that the planes that hit the WTC were remote controlled by the CIA. There is no conspiracy.

Irrelevent.

I don't associate liberalism/conservatism with the Isreal-Palestine conflict-- they aren't as standard as stances on other things.

Neither did Apprentice. I do remember being forced to read a Teen Newsweek last year in my History class that glorified Arafat to the hilt. In my opinion he was a terrorist. Sharon could be argued into that title if you really wanted to but at least Isreal is/was trying to create peace.

Is this thread not a complaint about how the (and I quote) "far left" is was allegedly glorifying Arafat (something most people here generally disagree with, and there is no example or proof of whatsoever). Both Arafat and Sharon could both easily be argued into that title, of course I think Arafar more easily so, but when you examines the means used to "create peace" and all the atrocities (and I chalk that up to there being such a hatred from both sides-- it's comparable to the Russia-Chechnya conflict- it gets downright dirty just because both sides have a hatred for the other side and their ideals, so it's not just a matter of "doing your job", but there is for the most part some true emotion, partly religiously fueled, involved, which is where things can get ugly). Anyways, Teen Newsweek is hardly a major news outlet, if that's what you're getting at. Surely the argument was someone's opinion, especially considering it's a magazine. If you're getting at the fact that you were forced to read it-- you weren't forced to accept the opinion of the author.

And I didn't. I just thought it was a tad ridiculous.

I just read this week's "newsweek" and it was all about Sharon. Hell, his face was even on the cover! Oh and by the way, isn't that considered a "liberal" source?

There was a full color front page article in the Denver Post about Sharons stroke and how peace would die with him. Oh look at this, the "liberal" MSNBC has about 5 pages of comic strips about sharon. http://cagle.msnbc.com/news/SharonStroke/main.asp Many of them show doves on life support. Let it go. The news is NOT controlled by the left, no matter how much Rush Limbaugh says it is.
