Hey, I've heard so many people say their not christian, that it makes me go crazy. Whats coming to this world? Haven't you guys heard of the bible? It's a book where you learn about God and Jesus. And many other things, but, why don't you guys go to a christian religion? Why atheist? I am christian, or try to be. I know some **INSERT CUSSWORD HERE** would say that the bible is a piece of **Insert cussword here** but why is it? Why don't you ever believe it? If you ever did, you would notice that so many of the things that are predicted in the bible and in the past have actually happened. Scientific prove exists that it did happen. So theres your proof for god. But why still deny it? Do you want to go to hell? You will suffer there until the end of time. But of course there won't be an end of time. So you'll suffer there FOREVER. And forever means, FOREVER, you will stay there FOREVER, not dying, only being tortured by fire, intense heat. Likewise, if your christian and god chooses you not to go to hell you stay on earth with other christians for another thousand years. While the rest suffer. It's not that hard to do, but people seem to regret it. For better or for worse. It's not something that you HAVE to do, you don't HAVE to be perfect. You just have to TRY, I myself have sins that I try to stop, but I can't. But I know that I'm just living my normal, sinny live. As long as you try, just like the bible says, "no one will be perfect". So, still, again, for better or for worse, why be atheist? I personally think its because your lazy, to stupid, to be christian, to ignorant, selfish, and greedy to become christian. Ok maybe not greedy and selfish, but definitly ignorant. Ignorance is a disease you know. Some may be none of those, but still unwise to worship god. So, ask yourself, "Why not?" It's alot easier than you'd expect, you'd like yourself, have higher motivation, and believe in god. They say god puts more weight on the shoulders of the christians to test their strength in the word of god. Well, thats what you'll go through, BUT, it doesn't mean you'll die, only god knows that. And once you pray, god will forgive your sins, he will help you with life to. Say you wanted to commit suicide and and hated your life, and asked god to help you with it. Well, he will do that. **Please do not be gay flametards, I'm tired of guys/girls coming on these forums flaming people just for saying one little bad thing.

What the hell?

Hard to bilndly obey christianity with all the violence and bloodshed in the world. Its hard to accept that the deaths of thousands on Sept 11th were part of Gods plan.

The catholic church especially needs reform. I myself am Roman Catholic, but I find the current state of church affairs disgusting.

My church released a sheet in the bulletin with the list of expenses.

How much have we spent on music (which consists of one organist and one horrible singer): 60,000$

How much have been donated to charities? 4,000$

Then lets move on into what is considered a sin. If somebody is suicidal, you don't tell them "OH GEE KILLING YOURSELF WOULD BE A SIN". If somebody is having problems, getting all "OH THATS A SIN" wont help anybody. Should God really punish somebody for having issues? He apparently created that person to be that way.

Hey, i don't go to church, and i don't read the bible all the time, but i am a christian....i believe in God, but i don't personally affiliate myself with one church. unknownsoldier, i think your mind is clouded. you see people who aren't the same as you as lazy, ignorant, greedy, selfish and stupid. why? because they aren't "die-hard-go-to-church-everday" christians? because they don't believe in the exact thing you believe in? you are the ignorant one. ther are plenty of christians, or people who say they're christians, who are greedy, selfish, stupid, and lazy. i can name many. the list goes on and on. why don't you try and accept people for what they believe in? who are you to come in here and preach to us what is wrong and right and who are sinners? are you some extremist preacher who'd like everyone to eventually drink the kool-aid? do i hear a jonestown? don't put this "if you dont start going to church right now and reading the bible 24/7 you'll go to hell, and suffer eternal damnation" crap on us. people are different...so they believe in different things! i find people like you to be the ignorant ones. open your eyes! the only thing you can do is believe in what you believe and not try to force it upon others! my best advice is to shut the #%^@ and let people believe in God, or no God, in whichever way they please! and im spent.

My father was a priest back in the days. I got kinda fed up after having christianity spooned in every god damn day. But thats me. Guess I call myself a christian, but like Zab, its more a personal belife.

Unknownsoldier, you are just like any other stereotype 80 year old norwegian church addictive. Calling atheist ignorant? I dont know where to start on this one, so I'l leave it be for someone else.

Christ. Just because I don't want religion shoved down my throat.... My parents raised me without religion because they didnt want me to have to grow up being uncertain of the religion that they picked for me. So they decided for me to be non-denominational. If I ever feel the need for "something more" yeah, sure, i'll pick up the old bible (or koran, or whatever i'm into) but for now, i'm just happy without it. I don't need religion to feel better about myself or explain what I cant. And I'm just glad I wasn't spoonfed something I didn't belive in from birth, like some people I know.
