I don't know, a lot of the things I've read from you guys doesn't really make all atheists look like christ incarnate.
wasn't it fluffy the PIG? now theres more then one piggy god? now we compare your religon to others. you obviously messed up and said there is now more then one god. others will read this thread and go "hey, there are piggy godS!" when it was originally one pig. same with other religons, time is a mean thing.
Fluffy the pig's authoritah, is one not two pigs. It describes his ownership of authoritah basicly, it is not plural for pig/pigs. So it is Fluffy the pig. Fluffy has authoritah over you ! Its Fluffy's authoritah that is all powerfull ! OR, Its Fluffy the pig's authoritah.

Another religion thread? Well then...
I personally don't believe in any particular idea about how we came to be, but I do not reject any ideas either. I simply do not have the information required to truly commit myself to any.
The more I think about it, though, the more I think that it really doesn't matter. If god exists, and is this perfect being that all claim he is, then he does not need (or even likely want) us worshiping him anyway. A god like that would not likely give us free will, and punish us for choosing incorrectly when there is absolutely no evidence towards his existence. If he is so good, he will reward those who do good deeds in their lives, regardless of whether or not they believe he exists. As long as we live our lives in a good way (as the standard society's definition of the word) then we should be fine.
If god is not the perfect being that all claim him to be, then why should we worship him? Follow him? Give a damn about him more than our fellow man? Out of fear of destruction? That's a bullshit reason to worship someone, and something I view as a reason not to.
In the end, though, does it matter how we got here? I personally believe that where we are going is far more important than where we came from.
Mmkay, people, pick apart my post like you have with every other post I have made here in this section of this place!

You don't know but suspect supernatural events would cover it mate. Along with Uwsar-Hat-Anupuw's post, it is pretty clear.
I think my opinion on the matter should be obvious for anyone who follows any of the various religious-themed threads on these boards.
But a summary would be: I don't really care whether a God or Gods exist, but I see no reason to suppose there is a God(s) so I simply live life according to what is presented to me and what I can establish (and no I don't think Pascal's wager is a valid argument).
This needs stickying !

NO! It really doesn't. If this needs stickying, then all of Alex' threads need stickying, because he takes the time to back up his false information. You, on the other hand, talk about Fluffy the Pig, whatever the hell that is.
