Some people believe that if you are not a government official, fishing and obtaining information through any methods to harm or destroy a normally radical and un-ethical organization, is wrong; due to the laws and constitutions that are violated in the process, just curious as to what you guys think on the subject.

Vigilantism is illegal for a reason. Sure it'd be nice to violate the civil liberties of radicals, but then which radicals get to keep their rights and which radicals do we oppress? We're all going to have different standards. The advantage of the law is while we may not all agree on what the standard should be there's still a relatively constant standard by which behaviour can be measured and judged; and thus there's some idea of what we can and can't reasonably do.
