Master of RealityI'm afraid of death. Think about it. Your whole life is done, nothing, just emptiness. You won't even know. You're just dead....... :'(
I am too. I mean it's like your so use to...using your brain. You will be well dead. That's so weird , but if there is an afterlife(I think there is) my soul will be alive. I don't know how that words though.
Maybe they are? YOU nor WE know until we all die.
Actually you will not know since your dead (assuming that there is no afterlife)
Selurai was wondering. How do ghosts fit into all this? there is plenty of evidence to suggest that ghost exist, so what then are they? are they really spirits that havent passed on? or maybe its just a memory imprinted on the enviroment somehow.
The Ancient Egyptians had an interesting idea of what 'ghosts' might be, not that it really matters to anyone these days. Look up 'ka' and 'ba' in a book or something if you're interested, though.
the Staplerjust curious, what form of protestantism do you follow?
I'm non-denominational...I don't really fit into any of em in other words. :P
I think I can show that if the soul is spiritual in the same way God is spiritual, then the soul does not reside within the body. And this is because God is dimensionless. How can a dimensionless thing (the soul) ever be bound by the body?
Instead, the soul is created from the essence of the body sometime between t = 0 and endtime (when the physical universe ends). I can't figure out when the soul is created, for God is independent of time and knows what the essence of the body is at all times. Is it possible that life is just one big soul generator? Perhaps God creates souls, all being unique, to be his companions?
the body gerates the soul, you mean like an aura? scientific equipment is able to detect energy fields surrounding the human body and other living things. it is similer to what we know as an aura. perhaps auras and souls are the same thing.
Perhaps this aura that you speak of is just energy emanating from the body? Most living things move and produce heat, this being the source of the energy.
i dont remember what i was watching, it was a while ago, but it wasnt just heat. they werent using a heat camera, it was something else. and the 'auras' were all different colors, and changed with mood, illness, and whatnot. it was very interesting, but i just didnt know what to make of it.
Sure it wasn't a documentary about fish or something? Fish change their colors when they are upset or happy or ill or dominant.
he was talking aboutsome sort of altered reception video, not physical skin color
