hmm, the military certainly doesnt mind its boys testing out experimental medications, and utilzing cancer causing fuels and lubricants but theyll be DAMNED if a soldier lights one up after pulling a 12 hour shift in a rat infested shiathole somewhere.

Amen brother.

God forbid you want to smoke a cig that helps you relax and unwind from the stress of a job where people are trying to kill you...from both sides.

I have known some people to get arthritis or other nerve damage from dealing with hydraulic fluid every day. Funny how the government doesnt care about that shit. They would just throw them on 30% disability when they get out. Dont give a fuck.

Perhaps the government should privatize the military.

Some of it is already. But its stupid shit like housing and gate security. (We dont even have Marines running gate security anymore, we have the local police do it).

I dont know if you could successfully run something as large as the US military within a private company. Thats alot of money. Dont know how you would get revenue except thru the tax money we are already funded by.

Altho it would be cool to have the entire US military employed by Blackwater.

[QUOTE=Huffardo;4961111]Perhaps, but there probably are others around you that are.

At least a few years ago smoking was the best way to get yourself some extra rest and stay away from work, so quite a few actually started their smoking careers in the military. The pro-smoking agenda couldn't have been more obvious even if they had openly advertised smoking; whenever it was time for a smoke break none-smokers at most got to stay put somewhere uncomfortable whilst the smokers moved to a place in the shade to sit down for a cigarette. :uhm:

That's true. But laziness is related to someone's personality, not smoking. For every lazy smoker in my platoon, I can think of a lazy non-smoker.

Altho it would be cool to have the entire US military employed by Blackwater.

blackwater and related security firms are notorious for war crimes and heavy handed use of force against civilians.

Ok. And? That was kinda my point.

Or do you not know who I am....

Its only a war crime if you loose, BTW.

Phosphorus arty against "civilian" targets is good practice.

Well, if they use a carcinogen that isn't government-issued, it's harder to get exact numbers on how carcinogenic all the fuels and lubricants are. It's just trying to keep their experiments controlled, y'know?

Does anyone have pictures of a lab rat in a tiny ACU uniform?
