AMD-PhoenixWhat is wrong with everyone these days? Every guy seems to think he hes general patton (who sucked by the way). Why with the attitudes? Tatoos and wife-beater shirts dont make you cool. I have a buddy thats just like that, highschool dropout who joined the millitary and now he thinks hes a badass. Well guess what, hes still just a highschool dropout.

Typical Americans.

NiteStrykerThats odd. Did he get a GED or something? Because you cant join the military (at least the Marines that I know of) unless you have a high school diploma. I think a few other services accept GED's, but not the Marines.

Not neccesarily true. That might be true now but when the war was in full steam last year one of my friends got in the marines and he was a drop out. They asked him a few questions but he was able to get in without too much hassle. I think they are a little bit more desperate now to find new recruits.

Thats interesting. I wonder what the circumstances were, if it it was a recruiter trying to meet his quota. Did he have enough credits to graduate high school and he just stopped comming, and then joined the Corps?

TheMackElaborate on General Patton's suckage, please. I know what you are talking about. What branch did your friend join? Like Nite said as far as I know the Marines won't accept GEDs, I don't know about the other branches. Mack

No, as a matter of fact that reason he joined the military was because he hated school and was going to drop out anyway. I don't know exactly what he told the recruiters to get in but they didn't do a good background check. This was last year though, even before the election when a lot of fighting was going on with the insurgents. Maybe they needed more people? I don't know or care.
