Oh for fucks sake, what the hell is up with these people?

Some nice ones

"It's a shocking phrase because we're not familiar with it."

"I guess they use it all the time in Australia, but it's a foreign language here so I think it'll have a negative impact rather than positive." These people need to realise something, the world is a violent place, oversheltering your kids is BAD.

Hmm, the AFA is based in Mississippi, never would have guessed. I'm really not a fan of the FCC, it believes that radio and TV don't have the (applicable)1st Amendment rights. I don't see the problem, really.

Nice thing about Aussie English being "a foreign language". Yeah, these are the people I want governing what I see.

Yes it is bad, but then agian, I wouldent want my 5 year old cusion to hear than with out him being explained what it means, or else he could think its "cool" and would walk around telling it to every one.

I guess the problem is its the fualt of the people who conseived the add and the parents.

HAHAHA! Oh that's bloody brilliant!

Groups of people thinking together = stupid.

One man thinking alone = much less stupid.

Who really cares? It isn't violent, the girl is hot, it isn't offensive, and it certainly isn't the first time Americans have heard 'bloody'!

Hell, ass, damn, bitch are all words you hear on the non-premium channels.

Seriously, what's wrong with "bloody"? Its an adjective, that can be applied to many things(even more if you're an Aussie). And "hell" is just a place that people of certain religions go if you've been bad. Not bad words, in my opinion.

Well bloody I dont really care, but as I said, I think that some parents just want to be there to explain to there children what the phrase is.

But I do agree that the parents are over reacting a little.

I also dont really care for women to be pictured on standert tv commercals in that fasion, it insults my intellegence (What I mean by that is that the use of sexuality on the male species will influence them to do things because they are so easily moved by it), and it would be embarising if I was waching Tv with a reletive or girl friend.

She's not nude, and its getting more common. Of course, you probably feel uncomfortable when a Victoria's Secret ad comes on, too...

I never made the claim that she was nude.

And as to your following statment, I only really get uncomfortable when I am with family or friends of the female sex. When I am by my self I really dont care.

If you're with family or female company just laugh at it and try to cover the tent. ;)

Talk about classic overreacting. What was the name of the guy protesting this ad. Either he is way to religious, or is gay. Hell, anyone who doesn't want to see a girl that hot has got to be one of those two.
