I don't want anyone coming here to hijack this thread. If you can't act and post in a civilized matter, don't post at all.

Anyway, heres the link:

First off, you should have wrote some introduction for the video instead of putting all people to watch it from the beginning. Introduction: the video is about civilian suffering between furious fighting of the Iraqi insurgents and American forces.

Second off, this sums it up: collateral damage which is not the same thing as "warcrime". War is a terrible thing, civilians suffer and die but that wasn't new under Saddam's regime either. Fighting against terrorists who use cowardish & sneaky means, you can't just go door to door and ask "is Terry Terrorist here or just normal folks?"

P.S. Don't we really have other topics in the international level to talk about than just global warming, evolution, Iraq and Bush?

I agree completely. Who is to blame for the collateral damage? The U.S. who attacked while attempting to limit damage as much as possible, or the terrorists who hid in civllian buildings to protect themselves with the hope that the U.S. wouldn't cause undue damage to the city.

And don't worry Relander, I've got an idea for once robotics season is over but I need some time and effort to put it forward, of which I have neither at the moment.

If anyone is at fault here it is the cowards who use those civilians as shields........

I am almost tempted to edit "warcrimes" out of the title because it is so incorrect, but your opinion is your opinion and I honor that.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.;3528177but your opinion is your opinion and I honor that.

No, his (Decebalus) opinion is that of a young one, uneducated in what is really going on in Iraq. He's trying to resonnate the "world's" adopted attitude towards the US- "America is the Giant Bully."

As others have said, this is a video showing an unfortunate series of events. It's war, people. It sucks. It's bloody. It keeps you up at night. I can tell you from personal experience- we have never tried to hurt an innocent bystander there. And if you want that honest, 'Cowboy' opinion- they shouldn't have been in the hail of gunfire. Find shelter, or get the heck out of Dodge.

As far as this CRAP about us using BIO/CHEM weapons? It's false, and grossly inaccurate. I WAS THERE, LITTLE BOY. Are you going to tell me what I did and did not do? I really doubt it. You have no idea what it was like there. We had LNs (local nationals) trying to hide in civilian crowds, stirring up everything. They were throwing large, hurtful objects at us- what do you think we were going to do? Stand there? No! We will repel any attack. What your tasteless video fails to mention is that when we fired on 'peaceful' crowds, we gave them warning after warning to disperse and stop attacking us. Did they listen? No!

These 'people' hide in schools, places of holy worship, and hospitals, firing from them. That is a violation against the Geneva Convention. But when we capture any insurgents, the first words out of thier mouths is "Geneva!" May I remind you that since they are not part of a formal army, the Geneva convention does not apply to them? We don't HAVE to treat them under that accord- but we do, because we are not monsters. They act like girls who hit guys, because it's an unspoken law we're not supposed to hit girls. Example: A girl kicks the guy in the balls for no real reason other than she doesn't like him, and says: "Uh uh! You can't hit me back, because I'm a girl!" If you don't want a fight, then don't goad us- plain and simple. Mess with the bull, get the horns.

Best Regards, ~Ki

Please put more effort into your threads: simply posting a link is not enough effort.

Do not backseat-moderate. If you think this thread isn't Pub-material that doesn't mean that you are allowed to post off-topic comments about how people are supposed to post here. Just report the threat in such situations or PM a moderator.

Also, don't insult other people, even if you disrespect their opinions.
