And the more fully a player's needs were satisfied, the better he felt after playing.
Unless I have my butt handed to me... it does feel satisfying...
tis true. good find my friend. I know i have always felt better after blowing somebody apart in gears of war. they didnt mention it in the article, but as im sure you all know, a good FPS is a great stress relief
Hmmm…there was a similar thread to this one a few months ago. By the way G thanks for that no shield info..
Finally, a look at the bright side.
lol me too rabid midgit.
but as im sure you all know, a good FPS is a great stress relief
Ya come home after a hard day at school or work.. ya need to shoot something... without breaking any laws. :p
I also find FPS games very rewarding. For example some guy is being unskillful, and with finesse you take him out (1 shot of course.). Video games also ahve an increasingly social aspect. With games like 2142 that directly encourage talking to people and working togther, I am starting to really think that my PC offers me "more" or will do in the future than the real world. Sure, both are good, but if I had to choose....... :p

I agree with Mr. G, FPS is great stress reliever nothing like Halo to blow off steam. I find Strat. Game work better for me it keeps the mind sharp, you have to think of tactics to take your enemy down.
