Not much I guess, until they have another election...they're stuck with what they have.

-DarthMaul-And they dont want to give up. Just like in theamerican revolution they fought one of the greatest and strongest nations on earth, and tried, and won. Might be the same thing here, although it might take much much longer than needed.

The ability to destroy a thing is ultimately the ability to control it, Israel has that power over Palestine. If Palestine pushes Israel into a corner Israel will very likely just kill every living thing in Palestine and be done with it. Which is of course one of the reasons why Iran's nuclear program is so worrying. Iran supports the terrorist attacks from Hamas, which means we could see either nuclear weapons supplied to terrorists or a shooting war with nukes kicking off if Hamas pushes Israel into a corner.

-DarthMaul- I think this is wrong, what the USA government is doing, the money if it will go directly to workers needs to be sent now, these peoples are very hungry and need the aide.

That money would go straight to funding terrorist acts.

I can't see why we can't give them aid aslong as the aid is used for the purpose(s) it's meant for. It would be nice of Hammas accepted the existance of Israel thouggh in return if I was Hammas I would demand Israel to remove the wal remove all communities outside the official border outligned by the UN in the 60's.

But I'm going offtopic, yeah they deserve aid but as with any aid (smae as aid for Isreal) we have to make sure it won't be used for any unacceptable purposes.

HmmmdonutThat money would go straight to funding terrorist acts.

Maybe you havent noticed, but Hamas, The Arab/Muslim Donaters, AND THE EU, are going to send this money DIRECTLY, to the workers, not to Hamas.

And It will be like what, 10 years, if Iran wants it, to make a nuclear weapon?

But I can see the logic, force the rest of the country into hunger ;) the palastenians wont care for the money though, as they said on TV, they'll just have to do without it.

let's see how this matter carries on.

I support the US in general, but not on this. As long as its humanitarian aid and support goes to the people who need it I have no problem with this.

I also feel it is not the US position to dictate to the EU what tehy can and cant do.

AZHSo, what you are saying is that the people are ultimately responsible for the actions of the Government, and more pertinently, for the hardships inflicted against the people due to the policies of said Government?

Kablam!! - 9/11

Well crap, I can see where this is going. Just dont go into the cage to get the carrot he's dangling.

Not being argumentitive but did the Palestinians vote their leaders in by Polular vote of the people or by a Electoral College?

In the US the 852 member Electoral College votes on who is the new President, but thats a whole nother several threads and flames.
