The legal age for buying alcohol here is 16 years.
In Sweden there is no age limit when it comes to drinking alcohol. But to drink it on nightclubs and such, you have to be 18, and you are allowed to drink whatever you want. To buy it you have to be 20 for hard licker and 18 for beer. I know this is a weird system, that you are allowed to go to the pub, clubs, discos when you are 18 and drink whatever you want, including strong licker. But to buy it in the stores, you have to be 18 and 20. But if someone buys at you, you are allowed to drink, no matter what age you are.
In Denmark it's 18 to come in to clubs and drink. And 16 to buy it in stores.
i read in russia you can drink beer at any age.
In Russia, beer drinks you.
Woah, hold on. Are you saying that I can go in pubs in England and eat under 18?
This last Christmas I was in London and I went to pubs with my parents and they kicked us out because I wasn't 18.
That's absolute bullcrap. I've eaten in pubs from 3 - 16.
Hoorah for 21. And guess which country holds the most DUI's too! ;)
KadajYou can drink whenever over here, or it's like 3 or something (at home).
It's only buying that is 18.
Bet you didn't know you may drink in a licenced resteraunt at the age of 15 and order up to 2-3 (forget which) ciders from 17+
It's jus one of those crazy British rules
P.S, it's 5 n over too :p
