NiteStrykerthe mayor wouldnt give individuals permission to do so.....he only gives the gays permission to because if he says no then he will be called homophobic and the ACLU will jump on him so fast....
What, in America there aren't laws giving the right to protest, no matter what the cause? That's fucked up. The government shouldn't be able to say which causes are worth stopping for.
Lived in SF for 14 years. Then moved to Arizona. When I talk about living in San Fran people automatically ask me how the parades were. Maybe they come to the conclusion that I would know cuz i look gay or something, which I AM NOT!
Anyways, I think that the gays have a parade to show the rest of the world that there are many of them. To show that they are free to be gay. They do it b/c they simply can and no one tries to stop them.
As far as I am concerned, b/c it doesnt affect me, let them do it. If it boosts their personal images. *HAVE FUN GUYS!*
Nobody tries to stop them because then they would be called 'homophobic'
Nobody tries to stop them because they're not doing anything wrong...
NiteStrykerNobody tries to stop them because then they would be called 'homophobic'.
bullshit.
Nobody tries to stop them because they're not doing anything wrong...
agreed.
this whole issue is blown way too far out of proportion. people are allowed to gather peacefully, for whatever reason they wish. if you don't agree with it, tough shit. you have a Constitution which says they can gather peacefully. your sentiments, NiteStryker, suggest you are a homophobe.
whoa, what was that noise?!?!?.. it sound like a smack.. oh, that must have been Nitestryker gettin slapped.
