Conservatives, I am sorry for all the negativity and hatred that has come out of the liberals over the past year. I would like you to know that I was not one of them. I was one of the "respectful" liberals that did not dismiss a conservative because of where he lives (e.g., Red States) or his religious faith (e.g., Christianity). I know it gets us nowhere to constantly make fun of conservatives and where they live, and their accents, and their conservative culture. I really am sorry for the way liberals have acted. But in exchange, I ask that the conservatives on this forum stop marginalizing and demonizing liberals. Most of us are not "hippies," or "flag burners," or "baby killers," or "pinko commies." These are all words intended to spread hatred of and devalue liberals as people. I hope that between now and 2008, we can properly and in a civil manner express our views and disagree, without getting into conspiracy theories and inflammatory rhetoric.

I went away to college (Northeastern University), and the first few weeks I didn't have a computer, so that's why I wasn't on in a while. I am pushing Barack Obama for President in 2008 (and hence my avatar) because I believe he is the one Democrat who could win the white house in 2008. There's no chance in hell that Hilary could win, because Republicans hate her too much. For more imformation on Barack Obama, visit www.obama2004.com. I am undecided about whether the Red States and Blue States should split up. I hope, if there is a civil war, it is non-violent.

Hey, welcome back, I was wondering where my main debater went ;)

Hiliary will run and I believe she has a decent shot. I think we will see Hiliary / Guiliani in 08. Hiliary has alot of power and an empire behind her.

Yeah, Hilary has a lot of power (pffft, as a Senator). Again, trying to frame the political picture as one of conservatives struggling desperately against "the man," the big bad left-wing conspiracy, as if you are the underdogs, even though you control EVERYTHING and the last election just solidified your control of all three branches of government. Giuliani would beat Hilary handily. The Republicans wouldn't even have to try, because they've already slandered her enough that the Republican base would already be conditioned to vote against her.
