Tanith, Pure arrogance, having more blacks is not the issue, the question at hand is not about America, we already know what you all would think.Secondly all of those old countries should have had AT LEAST 5 different races as prez by now, how old are all of those countries anyway !, no excuse IMO, complete elite racists. And keep your lack of education comments to yourself. Huffardo I guess you just don't understand. I have gotten bikes stole from blacks One night 3 came out of some bushes as we walked to the corner store, chased us down and kicked us after they just left the pinball place having smashed a thick pop(soda) bottle on a kids head.(we found out later and surmised who they were later), could have been much worse. was about 15 years old Got winded from being punched in the gut walking into school in the morning one time.9th grade One reached inside my pocket 10th grade, in the school bathroom and took my Zippo lighter. Friend got punched real hard by 3,he said "I am the cisco kid" and punched him in the face.9th grade. Got chased by 5 blacks down at the railroad tracks one summer. ALL 100% unprovoked, and guess what, I still think blacks are ok. Oh back in the race riot days we put ladders by the sides of our cars in our driveway, and my mom boiled water to throw at anyone who might come in.Was probably about 8 years old or less. What you don't seem to know is, we have ghettos, and our old neighborhood was really not that bad.But we have blacks that act like nwords, they talk that ghetto slang, then we have blacks that act like Obama. It is not a matter of color to not elect him as in being racist, but for the way you foreigners talk you act as if we treat all blacks as if they are still slaves. That is the propaganda you have been fed through the media. While in fact I have been beaten up by nwords when I was a kid, but you all just think because whites are the majority, and then go on to tell me you people hardly have any ghetto blacks, geez.

And the cycle continues – hmmm Quetron. There is sleaze in all race/nationality. I understand your resentment toward sects of the black population given your experiences, but black people in this nation don’t deserve your scorn – this goes back to my example to the Hispanic fellow who lives across the street from me. If you want the world to change – be the change. I don’t think Europeans see us as a bunch of slave holder/dealers – and if some do, then that is their issue and it does not reflect this great nation. But to be fair that is a two-way street. Indoctrination of schools around the world paint skewed pictures of how the world is and was. Guess it goes back to don’t always believe what you read or watch on TV. Life experiences are always the best teachers – but those experiences must be balanced with exposure outside of what we are used to (i.e. go travel, see other place, live elsewhere), then you have the clout to make opinionated comments about people.

AlDaja;4774097:wtf:...does this have to do with the thread/topic. Can't just place quotes or random snippets from somewhere without explaining the context...

I just sumarized everything for you, why would you ask me to do an essay for you?

Race isn't the issue. Belief is. If Obama was a muslim, they would not have voted for him. IF instead he was a muslim and then became 100% against Islam, every Timmeh and his mother would vote for him.

Here's something for you. You have two candidates.

One looks like Osama Bin Laden, the other like Julius Cesar.

Which one would you vote for?

Again.

One is a 100% pro-islam, the other is 100% anti-islam.

Which one would you vote for?

By the way, you have to be in Europe to qualify for those questions.

Note: I'd vote for neither, I'm not into voting for or giving support to strangers, who themself live on the other side of the globe. Neither do I support this notion of United States of Europe. This idea of "will Europe ever have a leader" doesn't even come on the radar. To be a leader of a whole continent, you would need to be something special.

Why not? But we don't elect presidents over here. We got our fancy party leaders who fights about the spot, depending who wins the election. I won't mind it as long as it's a Swede with swedish values.

Btw, thanks for calling Europe a country. That kinda made my morning :)

Tanith;4774046Just because America now has a black president some Americans think its now an anti-racist country and that European countries are racist because they don't have black leaders even though the percentage of blacks compared to whites in European countries has been very low. I just got to ask America has had a much higher percentage of blacks than Europe for a very long time so what the hell took it so long to elect its first black president?

It certainly isn't racism. This easily could've happened within the last 40 or so years...at least in regards to actual restriction due to color. You can't change the people, though.

Have some Americans not stopped to consider that Obama winning the election by a landslide may of been because he was the better candidate and not just because he was black.

Landslide? I do believe he got 49% of the vote. Ron Paul (I think?) caused the disruption that gave it to Obama for certain. If this man were white, he would be labeled a marxist rather quickly and been stepped on. Doesn't work that way with blacks, because you're a racist for disagreeing.

Hell most of Europe wanted Obama to win the election even more so than some Americans. I even wanted him to win: Not because of his skin color but because I agree with his policies and I think he will set America on a better direction to repair the 8 years of damage done under the Bush administration. I have even grown to like America again because of Obama.

Killing our own children, stealing from people who earned their money in an economy whose problem is already about money, removing our missle defenses, wanting to start an organization rather reminiscent of a secret police in nature, talking with angry people in dirty rags who already don't have anything to say to us, and essentially letting free a bunch of prisoners who won't have anywhere logical to go after Guantanamo is shut down. Makes a lot of sense, huh?

I do hope that the US educational system is better than what Quetron is conveying.

Not really. It's been in a slow decline since the '60s, conveniently coinciding with the removal of prayer and the Bible from public school at the hands of liberal thinking. Of course, this has nothing to do with the ridiculously frequent shootings in schools and the lack of respect for human life which was seemingly nonexistent until said removals. Of course, they'll make a fountain for Muslim students to wash their feet, but we can't let a Christian bring his holy book to school. I love liberal thinking.
