Why does it matter? Their leader is jordanian.

XenomorphI should point out that any connection between Sadam and Al Qaeda is totally debunk. Sadam was a Suni Muslim, and during his reign had a habit of oppressing the Shi'ite Muslim majority of the country. Osama bin Laden is also a Shi'ite. In fact, when Sadam invaded Kuwait , Osama was very vocal in Saudi Arabia in declaring that he should be allowed to lead a large Saudi volunteer force to counter-attack Iraq. The idea that Osama, or Al Qaeda, would willingly assist Sadam is preposterous.

Actually OBL is Sunni. Saddam was just secular.

Whois there leader? And why do you say it does not matter if they were iraqis? your saying just because the leader "might" not be a iraqi, that makes none of them iraqis? lol.

Horse Shit!! Zarqawi's organisation is said to have about 400 core members. He is by no means the head guy of the insurgency. There are dozens of insurgent groups out there which makes the situation tougher for the Americans.
