Mr. MattThat'd be the socialism. Take enough money off the companies so they can't afford to hire more people, give it to poor, unemployed people in the form of unemployment benefits, and BANG, you have a situation that can't be classed as good or bad, just totally weird.

i work in the naval base in plymouth maintaining pipe systems and steam boilers, been doing it for years so its easy but im getting fed up with the shiftwork, although it does have the advantage of being able to go out during the day when other people are working, also the money nice to have, in a couple of years when the mortgage is paid off i'll quit shiftwork and have more time at the weekends

I only work part time now, just to keep me from getting bored. also I do think that the working hours are too long......
