Well, here's my idea. Its seems with all of these split governments that can't keep their populations in control, we have many conflicts across the world. If for say, a dictator came along, somehow conquered the world, and would brutally quell any rebellion, have a more peaceful, and quiet society. (If he/she gives people fair rights, just enforces the law with an iron fist.) There would be little crime, for anyone with the idea would be afraid to defy such an authoity, and all of the nice people who don't do much wrong would have little to worry about. THOUGHTS?

It would be more peaceful, but it wouldn't be a society I would want to live in. Living in peace is only one aspect of a good society.

Probably not that peaceful either, what with the old freedom fighters/terrorists rearing up all over the place as tends to happen.

Yeah it would be very difficult to achieve a world with no terrorists and such. Ofc the Nazis could have done it, seeing how they'd ethenically clense 90% of the worlds population. A world under nazi rule would be rather peaceful and incredibly technologically advanced, but there would only be a few million people on earth. :lulz:

O yes because all the dictator ships in the past have all been cesspools of peace and love and flowers and everyone sang kumbaya whilst hugging each other*

Your very wrong about that bouncer. Germany's terror tactics in occupied countries only led to more people joining the partisans.

No such person exists that could have power like that, and never abuse it.

Even if someone did come into power with good intentions, someone evil would usurp power from him.

In short, no.

I like to believe in a kind of mix between a dictatorship and a democracy.

Have a single figurehead lead the people, but at the same time have some sort of plan that keeps the people in power incase some nutcase takes the throne.

But it would probably be very stressful.

I'm not sure you can call it peaceful if anybody that disagrees with the regime is killed. When I think of peaceful society I think of people living together in ideally harmony and realistically at least in respect of one another. The scenario you described is a different type of peace, akin to the phrase Rest In Peace used for deceased.

A society like that might be peaceful in the sense that there are no violent rebellions, but nobody would feel peaceful. They would be terrified and constantly worried about being killed on a whim of the dictator. And once again, if the dictator is wantonly killing people it's not peaceful in the sense of physical violence either.
