Ok, finally, a good one.
Kerry is not proposing nearly the amount needed to properly wean America off oil. He's putting 10 billion into "clean coal", an oxymoronic term developed by the coal lobby. We need to put a huge investment into hydrogen fuels and renewable energy, 100 billion a year, if any real progress is to be made. This is the best plan I've head yet, but it still sucks. The only one that I really like is the reinstatement of SuperFund, a program championed by no less than Al Gore.
Also, Nite, I really like your sig. "This Land" and Adult Swim. Though I disagree with you politically, your sense of humor is spot on.
