USATODAY.com - To a casual observer, the 4-acre tract of grass, kudzu, live oaks and mulberry trees is merely a patch of green in a city without very many. But to residents of Cabbagetown, a century-old neighborhood being reshaped by gentrification, the site represents a hard-won dream: a new neighborhood park.http://us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/rss/topstories/*http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/usatoday/20040806/ts_usatoday/urbanparkscometolife

Yeah, well, idiot city planners in my neighborhood just tore down a MEMORIAL park. They are putting in vegetable plots. This is a complete waste of downtown greenspace. To make matters worse, a memorial park is DONTAED IN MEMORY OF SOMEONE. There were MEMORIALS there. Stuff like this doesn't cut it in a city with 350 000 people.....

Vegetables? They're trying to farm in the middle of a city? :n0e:
