Only: why so harsh on illegal immigrants?

If you honestly need to ask, you are living too far away to know.

It should be in the title. ILLEGAL immigrants. As in breaking the law with their presence.

Reminded me of some signs I saw during the May 5 protests a year or two ago. "We are not criminals".

Kinda ignoring the whole definition of "criminal", isn't it?

Taxes:

1) Everyone pays their fair share. If I pay 8 cents on a dollar, A millionare pays 8 cents on the dollar. 2) No Government handouts will be taxed(welfare,unemployment... etc)

Benefits

If a single mom with 1 kid is getting welfare and gets pregnant... her welfare is either cut, or the pay remains the same. No more paying these people to have a bunch of kids.

Health Care

1) An entry level doctor(controlled by the state/government) is created. These doctors can only charge $1 per minute ($60 per a full hour of service). They oversee minor issues such as colds, flu, fevers, cuts, broken bones. They can write doctor's note, perscribe Meds or refer you to a fully skilled doctor. Or you have the option of still going to a fully skilled doctor and paying $150 for 5 minutes worth of you need to take a aspirin.

2) AIDS - I'm sorry to be cruel here, it's not to punish the infected but to protect the rest. This needs to get under control. They need some kind of controlled environment away from non-infected. Of course be treated right and have a system set up where they are still productive in society.

Guns

Should be legal to carry in the open(as long as in the holster). Anyone caught wavying guns around or threatening people with them will be arrested. Teachers and pilots should have training.

Education

1) Teachers should have higher pay then other workers in a school. 2) Homework should be very limited. What good is it when the teacher isn't around to help? (for more on education see Religion)

Transportion

1) Make all vehicle laws federal not state. It's stupid to stick a hose up a car's butt in Texas... but in Ohio there is no inspection at all. 2) Loosen up on restrictions. If someone wants to drive a car that gets 6 mpg... let them. 3) Treat diesel and regular gas the same,. I'm sorry but when I'm around diesel... it stinks more, smokes more, gives me headaches, burns my eyes, drys my throat. Sure regular gas has hidden dangers but I'm tired of diesel getting a free pass. 4) Oil(see Capitalism)

Human rights

1) Abortion - I have 3 options for the people to vote on. A) Make Abortion illegal. Any doctor or Mother-to-be will be shot on sight if they attempt or succeed in an abortion. (The mother after giving birth if it was stopped before) B) Mother gets to flip a coin, if she wins...the abortion happens as she wants. If she loses, she is put to death after the baby is born. C) Abortion is legal however the mother has ALL her sexual parts removed and is sealed up down below (example she will pee through a tube. No more sex) EXCEPTION RULE: If the mother was raped or her life is in danger then these 3 don't apply. 2) Homosexuals - I believe the don't ask don't tell policy for the whole country. Public display is 100% illegal(No marriages or unions). However I do believe in what goes on in your house is your business as long as it doesn't hurt others. If for some reason someone is caught in their house having homosexual sex... nothing happens. (see drugs also for more home issues)

Religion

I'll draw it down the middle here for the religion of God VS the religion of evolution.

1) Schools(basic) will teach both of them equally. No advantage for either side. They will both be stated as opinion. 2) Higher schools will charge the same rate for a Christian school VS an atheist school, so there is no pressure to join one you don't want. 3) Control hate Churches. No crap about God hating fags 4) Also no hate cults of any kind. I hate Jews, I hate Blacks... etc. 5) Public display of Christians, Muslum, or even evolution is allowed(as long as it is not stated as fact). If it upsets you... Look the other way.

Illegals

1) This shall not be allowed in any form. If any illegal crosses the border and gives birth... the child is illegal as well. 2) Minutemen will be paid and carry guns with the right to shoot on sight. 3) Any illegal found in the states will be deported after serving a hard labor camp to pay for there ticket/trip. If found a second time they will be shot. 4) If they are hurt or dieing... no medical service will be given unless they pay for it through the abor camp.

Capitalism

While I believe in Capitalism... it needs to be controlled.

1) American companies will not be allowed to go overseas or/and pay a very heavy fine. 2) Companies must share bonuses equally with everyone. I'm tired of CEOs getting 1-2 million dollars while paying the bottom worker $25. 3) If a company files bankrupt, the CEO's pay will decrease to $1 per year 4) If the company wants to lay people off, the CEO is the first to go and the new CEO only gets $1. All employees(laid off) will recieve at least 6 months worth of pay. Insurance for the same time unless they find another job. 5) No more temp hires... everyone is hired permanant with the chance to have insurance within 90 days. 6) Oil Companies will not be allowed to jack up prices and make record profits. I don't believe in the supply and demand crap. Only if their is a real shortage of oil. Also We will drill for oil here in america.

Silly Groups

1) Get rid of lobbyists 2) Get rid of environmentists(Including the global warming nuts), Even if it was true. 1 degree in 100 years, thats 10 degrees in 1,000 years, I'm sure my 50X great child won't mind a low of 35 degrees in Texas for winter instead of 25 degrees like we have now. 3) Ban all companies for calling and knocking on your door to sell items(this includes mormons). I really believe your house is your house.

Drugs and alcohol

1) Make the drinking age 18, if they can die in war they can drink. However, stiffer penalties for DUI 1st time, suspend license for a year... 30 days in jail. 2nd time, permanment loss of license...90 days in jail. If anyone is killed by a drunk, automatic life in prison or death penalty. 2) Legalize marijuana sort of. Only the government can sell it. It can only be smoked in your house... and only you or family members. No friends at your house. Illegal to be caught high in public(stay at your house). 3) The rest of the drugs are illegal. If caught in your house and no one else appears involved. They are destroyed and NO charges will be issued. Meaning illegal to have in public to be selling/buying/using.

I love how they think they arnt doing anything wrong, but by them having the ability to tell somebody in the US that, they are breaking the law.

Arnold Schwarzenegger waited like 6 years for citizenship.

Saw a funny as hell poster written by a guy that said something like "no mexicans no burritos" but I cant find it to post it.

NiteStryker;4932094Too much crime then.
You're right. It's better to have drug dealers and pimps run the streets freely while hoping the failing "war on drugs" will solve all of our problems.

2) Legalize marijuana sort of. Only the government can sell it. It can only be smoked in your house... and only you or family members. No friends at your house. Illegal to be caught high in public(stay at your house).

So you can be drunk in public but not stoned? You can get drunk with your buds at your own own house, but if any grass is inhaled...straight to the slammer? Good old American hypocrisy lives on!

Drink your drug, you two-faced bastards. This bud's for you!

And those against abortion obviously want to see our nation fall into the clutches of overpopulation like in India and China. With the rapid increase of child births and without any sort of coherent public transportation cushioning the increase, traffic will obviously become unbearable and those same abortion haters will be asking themselves: "What happened!?"

...furrowing their brows in a vain attempt to understand the situation.
1) Abortion - I have 3 options for the people to vote on. A) Make Abortion illegal. Any doctor or Mother-to-be will be shot on sight if they attempt or succeed in an abortion. So let me take it on a bit different then most here. Instead of proposing my own fixes I'll attack yours. First of all let me say that I do agree with some, but am extremely opposed to others.

Abolish lobbyists - they do nothing but harm our country, in the interests of big business and the wealthy elite

Sorry, but you cannot abolish lobbyism. You can potentially push it more to the sidelines, not have it as intertwined with the government as it is, but it's impossible to eradicate it.

Require a satisfactory grade on an IQ exam to: Drive a motor vehicle Vote in an election Have/adopt children Become a civil service worker

Can't say I disagree. As long as you can guarantee completely fair testing. On top of that add join the military and or the police to that list.

Abolish lawyers - there will be no more getting out of a crime, hiding behind technicalities

No, just no. The problem in your justice system are not lawyers. It's your justice system and the way it's based on non-professional judicature. Lawyers are actually the balancing ingredient in it. You abolish them and the system will fuck up.

Abolish patents on medicine - no one should ever hold a copyright on a cure/treatment for anything (not to mention the dramatic reduction in health care costs)

Shorten them? Yes. Abolish them? No. It's still intellectual property and those companies that invest into research do so in order to benefit from the license of the medicament. Remove this and they loose interest in research. Go and finance it with state finances after that.

Expatriate all violent criminals and thieves, and deport them to Antarctica, along with all the illegal immigrants we find within our borders

Sorry, but the rest of the world will tell you to bloody fuck off, keep your citizens in your borders (no one can be robbed of their nationality). Illegal immigrants are a somewhat different matter.

Legalize gay marriage - gay people have just as much right to be miserable, like any heterosexual person

Agreed, see no problem on this point

Legalize all drugs, but make it illegal to sell drugs without a license - either they are all ok, or non are, and marijuana is pretty damn ok. Also, my administration will still rake in money from licensing fees, as well as ensure a quality product is being distributed

This is a point where I'm not sure what to say, but I'm inclined to merely legalising the weaker drugs and still combating the harder ones. Not because their effects are so much worse, but because they progress so much faster.

Legalize gambling - it happens everywhere, anyway, so why not make some tax revenue off it?

Wasn't it already legal? I.e. vegas?

Restructure the education system - no longer will principles or school board members/trustees earn more income than any teacher, and spend the left over money on learning/teaching resources, and increase techers' salaries as much as possible

The principal's salary should be higher than the teachers. They not only often teach, but are the de-facto managers of the school. Can't say anything about trustees. No idea what those are.

Modernize our military, completely, as well as introduce lifetime medical coverage for all military service members - the people who have the fortitude to actually fight for this land deserve a shit load more than we are getting now

modernise? From what money? Or you mean merely scrape off a large part of the projects that never get completed? As to medical insurance? Why not make a uniform medical insurance for everyone, maybe partially paid by a job tax, and the soldiers and former soldiers paying far lower percentages?

Abolish abortion, except in rape cases, or cases where the child/mother's life is in jeopardy - no, not for moral reasons. I give a flying phuck about religious values... No. Abortion promotes irresponsibility. If you do not want to have children, DON'T HAVE SEX

No. Legal abortion has actually proved to reduce the overall amount of abortions. On top of that you protect the mother (because she's most likely get the abortion anyway, just in a far less hygienic manner. If you need a different reasoning - just use the same reasoning you have used on the drugs. You get to tax something that would have been done anyway.

No more sex)

Whoa..are you completely sure we aren't living in the middle ages? I have to wonder. Or is it just a moral compass pointing into the sky and past instead of to common sense?

The principal's salary should be higher than the teachers. They not only often teach, but are the de-facto managers of the school. Can't say anything about trustees. No idea what those are.

The board of trustees of a school are like the board of directors of a company.

Taxes:

1) Everyone pays their fair share. If I pay 8 cents on a dollar, A millionare pays 8 cents on the dollar. 2) No Government handouts will be taxed(welfare,unemployment... etc)

It seems fair that tax cuts for less wealthy people form a larger portion of their benefit, than, well, benefits. Removing bureaucracy and all that. Other than that, fine.

Benefits

If a single mom with 1 kid is getting welfare and gets pregnant... her welfare is either cut, or the pay remains the same. No more paying these people to have a bunch of kids.

Options should be given, I reckon. Abortion or a cut in benefits.

Seems fair. Even though I'm training to be a doctor... =p

I agree specialists charge way too much for their time. However, it has to be said that they have spent upwards of 20 years getting to where they are now. They deserve a little recompense for their efforts, and pay is part of that.

Guns

Should be legal to carry in the open(as long as in the holster). Anyone caught wavying guns around or threatening people with them will be arrested. Teachers and pilots should have training.

No way. No f***ing way.

Education

1) Teachers should have higher pay then other workers in a school. 2) Homework should be very limited. What good is it when the teacher isn't around to help? (for more on education see Religion)

Good teachers should be paid extra, and bad teachers should be paid less, given retraining, or laid off.

I don't think homework is a bad idea at all. The idea is for parents to help with homework. But I agree forcing people to do it for the sake of it is a bit stupid. Instead, I reckon teachers should give tests at the beginnings of lessons, at the end of the week, and at the end of the term. Detention if you fail. And a fail is 69%. None of that '40% is a pass' bullshit.

More exceptions are called for, I think. Including if the woman is/was incapable of clear, rational thought when she became pregnant. Also, a one strike policy might be better.

And as for the circumcision/mutilation of sexual organs (because, to be fair, that's what option C basically is) opens her up (no pun intended) to a whole host of infections. And if you remove her ovaries, it becomes really troublesome in regards with hormones.

I hate Jews, I hate Blacks... etc. 5) Public display of Christians, Muslum, or even evolution is allowed(as long as it is not stated as fact). If it upsets you... Look the other way.

1) Evolution is not an opinion. Evolution is widely accepted, and proven, as existing and acting on a day-to-day basis. Whether Natural Selection is the mechanism for Evolution, this is the debated point. 2) I don't support public schools having a religion. Seeing as the state and religion should be kept separate, and seeing as public schools are owned by the government, having a Christian school is completely ridiculous. Private schools are of course, allowed to do what they want in terms of religion.

NiteStrykerIf you honestly need to ask, you are living too far away to know.

Trust me, though I live in Michigan, there are loads of illegal workers up here working on farms. Are you saying you can't judge a situation without direct personal experience?

ILLEGAL immigrants. As in breaking the law with their presence.

1) This assumes that whatever is illegal is wrong, that it is wrong because it is illegal. Growing hemp to make into clothes is also illegal, but surely that can't be wrong?

2) I was only wondering why Nemmerle's solution to the problem was so harsh, not that he had a problem with it at all. It just seemed that the policy of killing those who enter the country without the proper paperwork, as well as retroactively executing those who already have seemed a bit... harsh. That's roughly 12 million people slaughtered because they are unwanted (nevermind their contribution to the economy).

what you’re looking at in an illegal immigrant is someone who had the resources or just the animal cunning to get out. Those who have chosen to change their lot by effort.

Or the ones who find work and send money back to their poor families.

Quite simply America does not have social stability or the resources to play host to the world. And in all truth there are already too many people living within your borders.

Absolutely. But I think you'd be killing the wrong people if we're worried about overpopulation or overconsumption. :deal:

It’s better for most people if we don’t let them in. Sure it’ll suck for them in the short term, but when you realise there’s no way out other than changing something... well sometimes people need a little push in order to stand up for themselves. Sometimes the few have to die so that the many may advance.

Yes this all makes plenty of sense. But to what extent do we shut out the immediately desperate? Do we at least help to alleviate the problems there? - remember that in the case of America and Mexico (where virtually all of our illegal immigrants come from, other than the few that come from the Caribbean), much of Mexico's agricultural industry has been, is being, and will continue to be depressed by the forcing of NAFTA and other free trade "agreements" on the poor and indigenous there. If we shut them out we have a responsibility to fix the damage caused by US Big Agriculture.

Also, just to clarify: Is the whole extermination policy following the same logic as the other political killings in your proposals, as a deterrent to future crime? I agree the threat of death is an effective deterrent, but crossing an arbitrary line without the proper papers seems a relatively light offense compared to political fraud.

Locomotor;4932932Or the ones who find work and send money back to their poor families.
That's not really any better.

Locomotor;4932932Absolutely. But I think you'd be killing the wrong people if we're worried about overpopulation or overconsumption. :deal:
Most affluent people have a negative growth rate for their portion of the population. My concern is stability, you need to have something to build on that won’t break under the weight; the problem with illegals is not what they do to the overall population figure but what they do to the ratios of ideologies within different social groups. Besides once you stop wealth from running in families and limit copyright the problem of horded wealth isn't such an issue.

Locomotor;4932932Yes this all makes plenty of sense. But to what extent do we shut out the immediately desperate?
Entirely. If you don’t then soon enough everyone who turns up will declare themselves immediately desperate.
Do we at least help to alleviate the problems there?

No, at least not on the government level. The problem with helping to alleviate the problems of others is that inevitably it creates dependency on you. If it wasn't for charity we'd already have more, manageable, population sizes in much of the world. If you free Mexico from its trade agreements what then? Some other country sails in and does the same thing all over again the next time the opportunity comes up. Unless the change stems from within their own country they'll always be dependent upon you, or someone very much like you.

As society starts to get its shit together, as social order problems decrease, education becomes more relevant to the real world, as people become more self reliant; there will be a shift by those who enjoy conflict from looking within their own borders for problems to solve to looking without those borders and working out how to help others solve their problems. Obviously there must always be some disorder within any nation, in order to create the individuals who will oppose it so that they're there as a safeguard; but one of the advantages of bulldozing a lot of the legal framework and limiting copyright is it allows people all the tools and freedoms they need to go out and do something about the things they find interesting.

Or not.

In which case any change that I implemented that way would be overturned when I went out of office anyway. You can't impose this sort of thing on people with political power, at the end of the day you just borrow that power from them and if they really don't want it....

A few people, on both sides of the border, caused that damage. And they caused it due to a wide range of social factors including their educations, which in turn wrest on a much wider range of causes. There’s only the question of what you can do about something, responsibility is irrelevant.
Also, just to clarify: Is the whole extermination policy following the same logic as the other political killings in your proposals, as a deterrent to future crime? I agree the threat of death is an effective deterrent, but crossing an arbitrary line without the proper papers seems a relatively light offense compared to political fraud.

It has a number of roles. It serves as a deterrent, it fixes some of the demographic ratio problems within your own society, and perhaps most importantly it stops them from coming back. If you send them back to their own country they’re only going to turn up across the border again in a few weeks. You could set up border patrols with the authority to shoot them, but you've got them all lined up, you may as well do it the easy way - it'll be cheaper and you're going to catch more of them that way.
