Preloaded avatars work fine and are selectable. Go into the user cp ( http://www.gamingforums.com/usercp.php? ) and sect avatar tab and select one of the Pre-defined avatars. We have plenty to choose from and they are organized into categories so you will not have to go though page after game of mixed avatars.

As for the custom avatars they are still not working and we are still trying to fix the problem

Discuss on this announcment here http://www.gamingforums.com/showthr...7445#post717445 -FileJune

basically tha=ey arent working but its being worked on. more to come (i guess)

Speaking of new 'features' --

1. You're allowing members to send up to 1500 messages at a time?. :wtf:

2. What's this recently created 'Advanced Members' Group? :n0e:

I'm guessing its people who have donated a certain amount of money.

An advanced member is a member of the forums who has been given more allowances then usual members. They also get a few things to tweak in there UserCP and see more stuff those others don’t see.

Advanced Members can see people who are marked as "Invisible," they can also see Posts and threads that have been deleted even after they have been deleted.

Advanced Members also have an increased capacity in their inbox.

Ok Crash enough rambling, How Do I Become an Advanced Member? Well Its Not as easy as just joining a usergroup. You must apply. And you must be approved by FileJune and/Or n0e. Advance member is a VERY hard usergroup to get into and requesting to join it with the reason; "I'm cooler than the other Adv. Members" will NOT get you in.

To get Adv. Member you have to be noticed, and you have to make a valid contribution to the Gaming Forums community.

Well Crash, Should I Apply For Adv Member I Think I've Been Good? There is no easy answer to that question but i will put it this way. If your post count is under 300 you probably have not been noticed, nor would FileJune or n0e have enough information about you. If you apply you will most likely just be taking up extra space in their inbox.

When In Doubt, Apply, if you aren't an Advanced Member within 2 Days you were not accepted. Don't Get Discouraged; we still love you very much.

1. You're allowing members to send up to 1500 messages at a time?. ehh.. that certainly won't be the final setting when I redo the advanced member thing. 5 at most.. the last thing we need is another option that eats up resources and slows down the forums for some people.

n0e1. You're allowing members to send up to 1500 messages at a time?.

You'd have to create some kind of bot in order to take full advantage of that, methinks.
