[color=darkorchid]well i was having a lot of problems w/ my computer so i got rid of a lot of things on my c drive including the sims..but now i when i try to reinstall deluxe edition it'll get 7% through and then it says component transfer error..usually its on somethin to do with animation...any suggestions?[/color]

This is actually a sound error (99%) Lowering the sound acceleration to basic usually works. To do this: 1. Click on the Start Menu. 2. Click run. 3. Type "dxdiag" in the blank field. 4. Click on the Sound Tab. 5. Slide the Acceleration bar to the left until your on basic. 6. Close the DirectX diagnostic tool by clicking close, then launch the game.

Im pretty sure this will fix your problem

how can i remove all the registy keys of sims 2??? i am having problems with the build mode... thx
