Is it possible in the sims 1 series to import your own music? I want to know because I think I'm doing something wrong. The game reacts to the song, and the music notes appear but nothing plays.
just copy songs in to a radio staion folder play the game put it on the staion you put the music in and it should work if it doesnt get em to switch to next song
I put them in the station but no sound came out. I saw the music notes, but no sound.
haha your sig says swearin is wrong if you saw my sig it would get banned from this site like that
This's from blue patty, a member at my forums: "Do this first of all. DO NOT forget this step. Go to your music folder in the game. Right click and COPY it...Take it outside the game if you want.. Now, open the modes and look at the build mode. I am listening to Lynard Skynard right now...Build1 See those silly names? Ok, make a folder and begin to drop your MP3's in it. You have a ZZTop song...Ok, rename it build1 ......Do that as many times and make as many build songs as you want... Now you have lets say ten build songs. They all are rock songs, but say build for their name. You still have a copy outside the game of the music file. Keep it! Now go into the game's music folder and delete their build songs. Insert your build songs. There you go. Now do that for any group you want. Do not touch the load loop. That is a special one. If you play alot and recognize the songs, you will discover that the speakers in the downtown stores can be redone too. I have Aerosmith songs for those speakers... Just love that.... Try it and you will love it too. Just remember, keep a copy of the original folders outside your game so if necessary, you can replace your changes back to the original game songs. Just in case".
