I didn't make it!
:bawl: I recently upgraded my computer & moved my motherboard & processor over to my son's computer. I loaded our old Sims game & had trouble with it booting me out to the desktop every once in awhile. I decided that Sims2 would probably be better, so I bought it & now it crashes evertime I greet the neighbors after moving in. I downloaded the current patch & nothing has improved. Since I have had trouble with the previous version I figure it's my computer, not the software. I have a 2 gig AMD processor, 512 memory & aan Nvidia Gforece video card. I did go on line & saw that there was a new driver (6 something), but am afraid to download it & screw things up even further. I also have looked for programs running such as virus protection & don't see anything. Anyone have an ideas? Thanks
I am the only one who is actually cooler than AzH

Thats a odd error, I would first try uninstalling the game fully, maybe using sims eraser. Then reinstall the game + patch and see if there is an improvement.
