Ok I haven't played the sims 2 for a while, I uninstalled it ages ago and now, I install it again, thats fine, no problems, everything finishes and I start it up, after about 5 seconds this box comes up and nothing works  gddhf5nh.png What the hell?

Did you try checking for any current update patches that might be available at The Sims 2 website? Installing the current patch might take care of the problem. You could also try checking at EA's support site for any relevent FAQ's that might be there. If all else fails, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling.

try to update the game as talked about above. Run a reg scan on your pc, it may need some repair done to it. Registry scanners can be found be doing a goggle, you will want to scan then clean or repair thrn try the game again

Thats google my dear (Love ya Amy!)

Anyway, try updating all your software and hardware. If problem persists run a system registry check (as Amy advised) and maybe try a defrag... or.. finally uninstall and install it again. Make sure the disc is clean when you place it in your drive.

You need to do a manual uninstall. You can find how to do it on the Sims 2 website. I don't know how to get to it because I called the tech support and they sent it to me. Just search in the help section.
