Is it worth it? My friend has seasons and she only likes it because she can kill sims more ways now. She refuses to tell me how the rest of the game is. Would you please? :D

Expansions are always much more expensive than they should be. Relatively minor changes to the content or gameplay should not cost as much as a completely new game.
Is it worth it? I guess that depends on what you're looking for, and what aspects of the game you enjoy.
With Seasons, you have weather (rain, thunder, lightning, snow...), a few more objects, and some changes to the gameplay. Some of those changes were introduced before with other expansions. For example, there is a "Young Adult" stage between adolescent and adult. There is also the concept of "influence"--which you collect by fulfilling goals and making friends, and helps you influence other sims to do things you want.
I liked the ability to store leftovers, instead of throwing food away. I also liked the option to level your terrain. There's a water slide for the pool, ice skating, winter clothes, etc. Lots of small and bigger changes, like that.
It has glitches, too. Some doors are displayed inside the walls. You know, with just the knob and the frame sticking out. You also need more RAM and CPU. If your PC was playing Sims2 just OK, you're going to see a difference.
I didn't get to winter. I uninstalled it, and restored my backups, until a new (compatible) version of SimPE comes out.
amen... well i like it its not worth the money completely at first but then you realize it was a good decision :KTA: he just got :0wned:
