1. Play the game. 2. Turn on free will. 3. Turn off monitor. 4. Walk away for a while. 5. Return. 6. Satisfy the need and aspiration points. 7. Check time left until elder age. 8. Repeat steps 4-7 until elder age is achieved. OR make an elder sim to start. OR play the game like normal. There is, as I assume you know, a cheat for stopping time, but no cheat for speeding it up...as far as I know... And just kidding about the steps. :p

or you can choose to do something evil. I once get a sims with at least gold aspiration level and use the reward too (looks like vacumn cleaner) to suck aspiration from the sim you want to age. Once the sim's aspiration level is red, I made him go drink the life water (rewards last one). Since the sim's aspiration is below the gold level, there's a high chance that he'll age as a negative effect instead which is what you want. Then once he goes thru the age transition, you might want to do the tasks to up his aspiration level.

Yeah, but you need aspiration points to buy such fancy tools of evil destruction, as you stated. For some users that could take just as long.

There's a free 3rd party program called SimPE, which can be used to get them to the point just slightly before a transition, so then you'd just play a little and they'd transition. It's insanely difficult to use the first few times, but worth the confusion.

Sorry to say, I've wanted my Sims to age too. When they're elderly and I want the insurance money, I make sure their aspiration level is LOW, (the lower the better), and make them drink the life water. More often than not, they will start choking and loose 3 days of their short Sim lives each time. Keep doing it and they'll get older and older. One time, my Sim aged so much via this process, Death came and took them right there! I'm glad their only Sims b/c this is not a friendly procedure! Good luck.....
