There are too many damn expantion packs for the sims, and even though the sims two came out... they just made it because they couldnt put all the information on an expantion pack. I think that they should maybe start thinking of new games, the sims is getting old! Whos with me!

Uhm the reason why they made so many expansions for the first game is for 2 reasons:

1. To gather feedback from people about what they like and didn't like about the expansion's content (Although EA haters will strongly disagree with this)

2. To make money. (THIS is what all EA haters agree on.)

BTW, it is Maxis' job, or ambition, to make Sim games. By you saying "They should start making new games" they can only make or only want to make improved Sim games.

It's most certainly greedy all the expansion packs made, especially the ones with little to no content addition, but you have to take it for what it is. Don't buy them. I do however hope that additions to the Sims 2 are made available through something less consuming on your cash supply.

I like them, they add more content to a brilliant game. I am a new sims player (relatively new - about a month) perhaps this is why i think differently ;)
