okay i figured out how to get twins....but everytime i have twins they are ALL boy/girl....i cant get girl/girl or boy/boy twins. I have had about 6 families with twins and all of them are boy/girl. Is there a way to get girl/girl or boy/boy twins or is this just random? thanks.

yeah- i just had my sim eat spagetti and a lot of cookies. And everytime i did this they would have twins. I would do it right before pregnacy and during.

This is a Sims 2 subject..... thought the Mods would want to know. Twins in The Sims are.... well.... glitchy. They wind up with the same name, for starters. That being said..... cookies are the 'magic' food for increasing the chance of twins in TS2. They will not make it a 100% occurance, but they make it much more likely. For it to work, the pregnant sim needs to eat cookies after the music has sounded announcing the pregnancy, but before the sim gets a bump and goes on maternity leave. If you miss that window of time, you've missed your chance because once that bump is there the number is decided. Gender, on the other hand, is decided at birth, so if you're not happy with what you got, you can exit without saving and play until the birth again. It randomizes, but can be either girl/girl, boy/boy, or boy/girl. There may or may not be a food that pushes the game toward a baby being a specific gender, but no one's found it yet.
