yeah, i myself dont listen to any 'outside' music when playing mp games.sometimes i'll listen to some music when playing early levels to a sp game, before it gets too complicated heh.
I always end up listening to myself screaming at the top of my lungs at whoever got the headshot on me. oh well.
LOL same I don't yell though I hit the table
depends on the game, fps, I prefer no music because you must listen for gun shots and foot steps and what not, for other types of games I'll listen to music
Like Mihail said for fps's, you might need to hear someone in a gunbattle upstairs, or someones footsteps down the corridor (or the tires of a warthog ;) ), other games like Final Fantasy or something that doesn't require you to hear the ingame music I have a playlist. Well not really, but for different situations I like different music, battle sequences something hard and "Im-gonna-kick-your-ass" or some such music -_- maybe Im just weird
during ww2 games I some times play nice 1930's-1940's music
Opera music is also another favorite of mine when playing out battle sequences, I dont really know why other then that It kind of makes the expierence movie-like, where everythings in slow motion and the soft music is playing in the background against all the action.
yeah opera is also nice, I like it for RTS when my massive armies finally clash with the enemies
When I am fooling around alot, say in Day of Defeat, and I am basically the equivalent of a talk-show host when I start going on my microphone, I typically listen to anything in my music folder, ranging from say Tom Petty to AC/DC, which I guess you can get a pretty good feel to what I listen to, both in-game and not.
