Yo.

Let's start a debate about a HOT subject!

:?Block: What do you think of illegal MP3 sharing? :?Block:

Here's part of my personal opinion. I think MP3 sharing would be nice if it was used legally, without violating copyright laws. But it's not going to happen soon. Not paying for your music equals no money for record companies, but most importantly no money to singers, musicians and songwriters. Copyrights are an artist's paycheck. Would YOU like to work for free?

MP3 sharing also affects the quality of music. The files are of a poor quality (as is all of compressed music). FAR from CD quality, unlike a lot of people may think.

heh, it would be nice to be able to d/l them free and legaly...

If you went down the illigal road (dont do that) and d/l a MP3 file, there are alot of virus's and spyware dressed up as other files going round, thats somthing to be very aware off, the underground MP3 filesharing is risky for all involved.

And make sure no links to MP3's are posted guys ;) remember the rules

That is legal to make MP3's of CD's you own..... IF you use them for personal use. Putting them on the net is illegal ;)
