I spent fourty-five minutes on Google Earth looking for the Gettysburg battlefield [ref: American Civil War], trying to use the search function but to no avail. I then found it after using an online map: it is apparently positioned in the middle of a line that could be drawn from Pittsburgh to the centre of New Jersey, down a huge motorway named Chambersburg Road or something and exactly north west of Baltimore.
I then discovered that the battlefield was long gone; now a city.
Were you looking because of personal curiosity or because of a school project?
Well, remove the city then.

Goggle Earth always has something cool.
Curiosity. The American Civil War r0xed. Literally.
Seriously, it was sure as hell interesting. Last modern war without aircraft carpet bombing troops to their deaths - the last war where tactics played the largest part in whether or not an army won or lost.
