At least according to my calculations.

I am using the equation

W = 1/(k-1) * (P2V2 - P1V1)

I am given P1 and P2 along with a temp, and the gas is an ideal one so

P1V1 = P2V2 and this I get 0 work to compress a gas which makes no sense.

Maybe KK can help me with this one.

Did you know that farting makes your butt cheeks cold(at least in theory)?

Well the gas is at a high pressure if your bum, and when it comes out it expands and thus is reduced to a lower pressure. This expansions takes heat, which is drawn from your butt cheeks which makes them colder.

what is the k? Is that a constant or is it temperature in kelvins?
