Yes it does. Just because someone is not there to hear it doesn't mean it doesn't make a sound.

Yes, yes it makes a sound, just because no one is there to hear or see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Like I inferred, which everyone ignored, it depends on the definition of sound. A tree falling in the forest will create sound waves, but some people believe that sound can not exist if there is no one to perceive it, as sound waves really are not sound until they are translated by the ear.

So, it depends on how you look at it.
