Isn't X SOOOOOO much better than Y?

Directions: 1. Replace X with some old, overrated, overly-reposted, or otherwise currently irrelevant thing, person, topic, meme, etc. 2. Replace Y with a more current, possibly not so bad thing, person, topic, meme etc of a vaguely similar topic (ie: something large and encompassing topic like music or any person alive or dead ever). 3. Get plenty of green rep and agreeable comments as an effect of your deep and insightful "wisdom"! :uhoh:

Horizontal is indeed better than vertical.

Though if you wanted to add some depth to your post you should have included z.

The horizontal limbo beats the vertical limbo unless you have a really athletic chick and she's into that sort of thing

Well, what about lathes? They only have the X and Z axis. So there's no reason to deal with Y at all.

This is why I prefer vertical mills, you have all three.

Yes but if you add in an indexer you get the fourth A axis. And should you have a rotary table then you can get the fifth B axis.
