Again, you miss the irony of it. Strike two.

Teenagers do stupid shit all the time and no class or lecture from anyone is going to change that.

I'll explain:
The fact that Sarah Palin's daughter got pregnant is not the ironic part. The ironic part is that Sarah Palin is still pushing abstinence only education and does NOT support traditional sex education. That includes information about sex, safety, birth control, and many other important issues.
It looks like her daughter didn't have a fucking clue.

Wow!

And your point is??? Is she not allowed to have her own opinions and views?? I know several people who got the "traditional sex education" shoved down their throats all through school who have still ended up pregnant. Her daughter could know every single thing about sex, safety and birth control on the planet and it can still happen.

They were informed. It isn't a cure all, end all for teen pregnancy. It's merely a precaution. A needed one at that.
Her daughter could know every single thing about sex, safety and birth control on the planet and it can still happen.
Then it would have been her own fault and not the fault of the state. And if you think that parents should just teach their kids about sex...think again. I'm sure there are some very strict religious parents who would rather keep vital information about sexual activity from their kids. Hence, putting them at a disadvantage when they hit puberty and their natural urges start to flow. Once they start to disobey their parents and having sex regardless of what they say...that is a HUGE problem.

Thats why people shouldn't put opinions in front of safety.
